Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced the appointment of Paul Gracey as Inkjet & Web Solutions Category and Marketing Manager for the Imaging and Printing Group (IPG), HP South Pacific. In this role, Gracey will be responsible for the marketing of HP’s Inkjet and Web Solutions (IWS) business, covering products and solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
Gracey will also look after Consumer Trade Marketing for HP, including marketing communications and consumer sales promotions working alongside HP’s Personal Systems Group (PSG) to design and optimise HP consumer in-store marketing programs.
Gracey will be responsible for all elements of HP’s IWS marketing mix in Australia and New Zealand, including forecasting and inventory management for HP’s Central Distribution Office and channel; product and category management; and pricing strategy. This involves the research, design, development and implementation of product strategies across the IWS portfolio including HP’s consumer and commercial ink-based printers (including Deskjet, Photosmart and Officejet product ranges) and HP’s retail photo solutions business.
Gracey will be focused on maximising revenue opportunities and increasing market share across the IWS business, working closely with HP channel and product marketing teams across the South Pacific region. “I’ve worked with HP’s products for over 14 years and I’m looking forward to continuing HP’s leadership in printing and imaging in the Australian and New Zealand markets,” said Gracey. “Together with the HP IPG South Pacific consumer and IWS teams we will continue to offer the best possible products, service and experience to our customers and partners.”
Prior to taking up the role as IWS and Consumer Marketing Manager for HP IPG South Pacific, Gracey was a Planning and Development Manager for Domayne, Australia, where he was responsible for development of Franchisees across all stores, encompassing business planning and best practice. Prior to this, he spent 14 years at Harvey Norman, seven years of which were as a franchisee.
Gracey recently completed post-graduate study in General Business at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
